I want an exclusive interview about new iPod with Steve Jobs

Hey, begging for things you want on your blog sometimes works. This guy begged to drive an Aston Martin on his blog and got his wish taken care of.

So, Steve, what about it? Or do you only give exclusives to big-name magazines?

Consolation prize? I’ll take a ride in an Aston Martin too!

  1. Hey Robert,
Didn’t you say a while back that Steve Jobs made an off-hand comment to you (when you worked for Microsoft) about how ‘you guys are the ones copying our stuff’? Or is my recollection incorrect?

If so, are you sure you want to interview a guy like that? I mean, sure it’s Steve Jobs, but I wouldn’t interview CEO/President/etc. that was that delusional.

But, you aren’t me, either.. 🙂

  3. How about a ride in a 1958 Austin Healey Sprite AN5.
Closer to the road makes you feel like you are going fast.

    If you can find one.

  5. Robert, talking about Steve, I’m registered as a “member of the Media” (man, this sounds great for a Podcaster) at MacWorld, would you be there ? I’d love to interview YOU, since I’m not so sure about Steve giving me (or you) an Interview… Oh BTW, if you get this itw with Steve, I’d almost PAY YOU the Aston Martin 🙂 🙂

  7. Richard,

By the same token anyone who doesn’t think Apple steals from MS has to be delusional.

Both companies eventually mimic features or products the other offer.

  9. Steve Jobs gets the NY Times, WSJ, and Newsweek on a regular basis. Mossberg, Pogue, and Levy, and two of them blog.

Exactly what are you going to do for him in the time he’d spend on you?

  13. You don’t have to be Walt Mossberg to have a conversation with Steve Jobs. Of course, having spent a couple of years as PR flack for the bad guys isn’t likely to help you get past his receptionist.

  17. I want to tell Apple what I like my next ipod to be like.

I want a bigger ipod or mini-tablet with Z type paper folding design. Slightly bigger version of ipod with full screen pen based, touch screen. Let’s call it Ipod because it is a bigger ipod concept.

Unfold the Ipod to get your full screen scretch out at a reading angle, unfold and slide the bottom panel to scretch out a full screen keyboard. And you can detach the keyboard.

Size will be like a novel book size that fit into the popular lady style handbag.

Me too. I want Apple to speak at our event. Do you want me to charm you in?
