Scoble goes Hollywood

Daniel McVicar, who is a real soap opera star (no, not a programmer who developed SOAP, but a guy who’s been on The Bold and the Beautiful for 20 years), came to PodTech’s offices to interview me. I had no idea just how big he was, but when I got back Irina fawned over me and said she was so jealous, saying she watched him everyday for years. Something fun for Friday afternoon.

  1. As you are *the man* could you help me put ‘What I’m reading’ and ‘What I’m listening to’ into my side bar widgets?

  3. I can’t help but notice how Daniel had to respond to your “Right?” every few seconds 🙂

I miss those days when your interviews started with “who are you?”

  5. C’mon down to hollywood sometime, Robert! I’ll buy you lunch at the citiwalk. Except that it’s technically not hollywood. But close, with an amusement park atmosphere that is remarkably similar to the city on the other side of the hill… 🙂

  7. Dude,

First off, you need Jonathan to do your hair, get a tan spray, do something about that apparent pudginess, affect your speech a little more, have a good looking gal in the background, etc etc before you can “go ” hollywood.

  11. Nice video, Robert. I enjoyed watching it. I tell you what, you come over to Staffordshire here in the United Kingdom and we’ll do an interview too. 😉

  13. Robert, you don’t need a spray on tan or any affectation. You are the self described Blogger Gangsta.

It was fun putting the story together, and thanks for the shout out.

I am looking forward to your show…do you have a name yet?

  15. Something from the vlogs “Video is more visual” – does this mean you’re now the Zen Blogger or is it just evidence that vlogging (in the absence of a script) is inevitably less considered than a written blog? More seriously though – you can’t view 100 vlogs in 2 hours.
