Get ready for Web news wave

I spent the evening talking with a bunch of people at a conference tonight. I’ve started catching wind of a bunch of stuff that’ll start coming out tomorrow, and will speed up next week during the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco.

Got any news? Post it here for everyone to check out!

Or, let the pros over at TechCrunch and other blogs cover it for you (I’ll put the best on my link blog).

  1. I rather prefer a nice twitter account which will send me sms about new and interesting stuff from the Web 2.0 Expo as i will be able to receive SMS without a problem – but will not be able to get any sim card with a usable data plan. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Hi Robert, we’ll be rolling out a public beta of LeapTag next week at Web 2.0 Expo in the Long Tail Pavilion (see our download at http://beta.leaptag.com) LeapTag is both a content discovery tool and a news reader that enables people to find news, blogs, books and more to match their individual interests. Over time, LeapTag gets โ€œsmarterโ€ at delivering exactly the kind of information the user wants by learning from the userโ€™s feedback. Let us know what you think.

  5. This is not news per se but it is something I think PodTech could usefully incorporate: Veotag. (http://www.veotag.com) but then if your definition of news is something that’s been lurking in the Long Tail and which Arrington/you haven’t written much about then maybe I’m OK ๐Ÿ™‚ Either way I really like what they’re trying to do and it would answer a big issue for business folk that want to catch snippets that are directly relevant.

Not quite uer generated but with a bit of tweaking, it could be.
