Yesterday Rackspace launched a cloud app partner portal called Cloud Tools. That’s a really boring way of saying that our partners rock and that we’re trying to help them build their businesses.
Why do that? Because by showing off the cloud tools ecosystem we help developers build their businesses (we are featuring 15 partners at launch). That makes them happy. Happy developers build more stuff, which needs more hosting, and they also tell their friends about how Rackspace is helpful to them.
Lots of people ask me why Rackspace is doing building43 and paying me to fly around the world to interview tech and business innovators. It’s to be helpful to developers and companies building business. I interview everyone, not just Rackspace customers. By helping them build their business, we make them happy. Happy developers build more stuff, which needs more hosting, and they also tell their friends about how Rackspace is helpful to them. Oh, I’m repeating myself.
How can we help you?
Enough will the RackSpace advertising already. You really will sell yourself for a dollar wont you?

Robert,Man, you've gone from an self promoting annoying troll to a for-hire promoting annoying troll.Ok that was unfair, to be honest, you've never been shy about taking money to blabber about the lame. I almost forgot your time on Channel 9, spent trying to convince the world Microsoft wasnt a monopoly — until they fired you for having a opinion they didnt want to pay you for.You ask why your current employer is 'paying me to fly around…' etc — same reason it always was. Youre a shameless whore.xx00shooby

Giving before receiving has become a new standard to build businesses by. Even in my tiny microcosm of value creation, I realized I have to give to open source communities if I want to eventually attract brilliant web programmers to more selfish projects.High five to you Robert and Rackspace for pursuing the high road in marketing and business development! How can I help you guys?

Need to setup Pairwork Workshop Training Session. Need to teach companies how to use this kind of technology in Handson Workshops. Not just developers but you need to show front line employees how to create content. That is what drives the need for Cloud Computing. User generated content that goes viral requires content and cloud computing. Dont have the conversation or the content why do you need clouding? <– Cloud +ComputingYou are promoting the best of the best in Tech. But unless you can convert the average Joe CEO, and down the functional line how to engage their customers in conversation it will be slow. Therefore you need to do workshops with people engaging in the tools all setup so they are seemless. Creating content engaging in conversation. Remove the barriers. Show how. Educated people will get it. But you have to close the Technology Gap.So the workshops need to have fabulous digital recording. Think almost like a Studio setting. Nice lighting, nice hardware, which means lots of Gigabytes. Lots of Gigabytes make more engaging content. More engaging content stimulate conversation. Teach people how to get Terabytes of good content and you will grow your business Robert.

Here's how you could REALLY help them….1. Stop Rackspace rudeness. Arrogance alive, Oracle-level. Humility works wonders.2. Damage-control is not SERVICE. Worthy and recognized if praised, but if any critics, they are “isolated opinions”, to quote Frederick Mendler.2. Shave the exorbitant prices and stop the insane nickel and diming. Pay here, pay there, pay pay pay. The hippie coffeeshop host charging $7 for muffins, plate and napkins extra. The self-appointed Princedom brand isn't aware that things have gone commodity.3. Uptime. 24/7 means that, trucks included. Mass-spam apologies, without any sentiments to back it up, are not to be lauded.4. Support means more than just rebooting Apache. “Fanatical” support doesn't mean determining cause or anything meaningful, for that you wait and wait, and pay pay up. Every customer should be “intensive”. How to REALLY get fanatical support, just say this magic phrase… “We are looking at other hosting options”…5. Upgrade plan….old hardware, old OS, you are stuck. Pay pay pay. No customer loyalty path.6. On B43, actually have relevant content, Geeks and Hollywood, Poken, Going Viral, Gilbore Gang, social networking spaz, with a few token “starting a company isn't that hard, if you ignre everything but technology” (complicated supply chain management formulas, all easy, just dump them on some web space-cadet Cloud).7. Ouch my eyes. B43 is a noised up mess. Not everyone has the attention-span of a gnat, and those green tags bars kill the flow. Real time is counterproductive to anyone making meaningful purchase descriptions, where you have to actually FOCUS.But shooby is right, this isn't even about Rackspace, they are just the (cloud) host to the spin-generating parasites.

To “Shooby:” I will keep deleting your posts here. For a few reasons. #1. I was never fired from any job in the past 20 years. #2. You're a jerk and I don't allow jerks here. #3. You won't put your real name on your comments. #4. It's great stress reduction.

<h2 align=”center”>What Makes the Ugg Bailey Button Boot Such a Hit?</h2> It's simple. UGG Australia has morphed together their two most popular styles. They started with the ever-popular UGG Classic Short Boot and then added a Wooden Button from their best-selling, as seen on Oprah, UGG Cardy. Put them together and you get this year's must have UGG style – the Ugg Bailey Button. The Bailey Button is available in 5 colors including Black, Chestnut, Grey, Chocolate and Sand. California-based retailer Footwear etc. has received all 5 colors into stock at their 7 stores and is already seeing positive results. Footwear etc. Manager, Andrew Monarch, said "It is not a matter of IF the Bailey sells out, but how quickly. We highly recommend that our customers secure their boots early before it's too late."Right, it is not a matter of IF the Bailey sells out, but how quickly. So we highly recommend that our customers secure their pair early before it's too late. The UGG Bailey Button is also very versatile as it can be worn up or folded down for a different look. They feature a soft foam insole and a genuine sheepskin lining. If you haven't experience the comfort of authentic UGG Australia Boots yet then your feet have been missing out. Give the new UGG Bailey Button a try today or if it's not for you, there's always the popular classic styles including UGG Classic Short, UGG Classic Tall and UGG Classic Cardy. But remember… don't wait to get your UGGs. Every year people procrastinate and then they can't find the UGG Boots they want. UGG Sale–Shop early for the best selection. The closer to Christmas you get the harder it gets to find UGGs.
