New Media is the same as Old Media, just minus the writers and talent, production quality and distribution outlets. Of course all this is a good thing, you see, as it’s more ‘human’ and ‘authentic’.

Scoble, I give you props for posting this, since it’s targetted at your vocation (or at least, avocation). It’s like you’re calling out your own (a)vocation by positng this, and reminds me of Microsoft calling themselves out by making that “If Microsoft designed the iPod box” video. But Microsoft didn’t just call themselves out, they did something about it and uncluttered their packaging. But will you (and other New Media Douchebags) improve likewise?
