I was over meeting with the CEO of Atlassian, Mike Cannon-Brookes, today about something else (they have some cool news coming soon) but when I got there Mike was showing off his new iPhone and it had a bunch of icons that aren’t on the “Steve Jobs approved” version. So, I had to start up my Nokia to show you what he’s using. Here’s a good description of how to load apps on your iPhone.Isn’t that ironic? I have to carry two cell phones: one to surf the Web on (the iPhone is a lot better at that than the Nokia), among other things, and one to do video. Hmmm.
Anyway, if you look at the other shows on my channel today you’ll see these videos, all done from my cell phone:
1. My favorite beach.
2. A brief tour of Atlassian’s tech support department where you meet the top architect too.
3. The guy behind Wikipatterns.com.
4. A brief video of BluePulse’s CEO, Ben Keighran, who is getting ready to announce some killer mobile phone stuff at CTIA next week). Interesting fact is that their office is in the original YouTube office.
Oh, and coming soon on ScobleShow.com is the full robotic helicopter video.
Is that San Gregorio beach? It’s not bad but I’m sure you can think of ‘better’ ones, right? π Have you been there at night on a fog/cloud free night yet?

Jee whiz Scoble, for a country in which you once asked me as to whether we had any startups, Atlassian is another mighty fine Australian startup for your list π

Isn’t there some issue with modding your iPhone. I thought Apple were disabling devices with 3rd party plugins when the device is updated. Apparently, there is a fix of some kind to reverse the mods, whether or not that works and then allows you to re-mod after the update I don’t know, as the iPhone won’t be available here till November…

Robert, when you surf the web on your iPhone, do you always try to hit the regular web site or do you browse to the mobile site? For instance, on your iPhone would you go to http://www.nytimes.com which gives the full desktop page, or would you do http://mobile.nytimes.com which gives you a mobile optimized view of the top stories of the day? Of course you could do either on demand, but I was just wonder what was your default approach.
