Larry Magid reports from Apple’s press conference earlier this week. Larry is someone I’ve been following for a very long time. He does tech reporting for CBS news and now is working for PodTech as part of our new “TechOne” brand. I’m honored to have been his camera guy at the Apple event. If you haven’t seen “skimming” in iMovie yet you might watch this short video that Magid did.

And I was honored to have you shoot my piece. Aside from being a net celebrity, you’re a good shooter. I have told a lot of people how impressed I was with your camera work. You listened to what I was saying and put the camera in the right positions to capture the Mac and screens as I was describing them. Very impressive. Not only did it help create a good video, it saved a lot of editing time because I didn’t have to go back to insert those shots. Thanks to you it was “live to tape” (disc actually).
