Scoble 2.0 to ship at TechCrunch 20?

Heh, our kid is due on September 17. Mike Arrington, founder of TechCrunch, thought that was a good date to hold TechCrunch 20 (I’m one of the people advising the conference). I’m not getting paid or anything for this effort, just doing it cause I see a lot of interesting companies in my work and would like to help Mike out. It’s going to be a great time to ship. Babies or companies. You choose. 🙂

    but THIS baby will be a once in a lifetime gift.

    The Web 2.0 Technology of today will be primitive by the next decade –

    – but ten years from now your geek child will have read these archived blog discussions and discovered that a conference was chosen over being present during the birth….. 😕

  21. You know, I just wonder where you slept Robert after making this post? I mean, surely Maryam has already polited asked you to be at the gold master release so she can make sure there isn’t a sequel?

    Oh and Patrick? Be happy you;re 1.0. Imagine being the one having to pay O’Reilly if a “Scoble 2.0” conference / family reunion were to happen in the future!

  31. photoallan: I’ve blogged almost every day for more than six years and have done thousands of things to get where I am today. But it started a long time before I even started a blog. I used to plan conferences for programmers and used to work at a computer programming magazine, which put me in touch with some really great people who build stuff that touches a lot of people’s lives.
