David Geller comes on ScobleShow to show off EyeJot, which is a cool way to send video emails around to your friends and family and blog readers. Here’s a video of just EyeJot being demonstrated.

Great move with the ‘Editor’s Choice’ shorter videos! I definitely think this is a move in the right direction, and I think the text on the page is exactly right – I want to know whether 30 minutes of this is worth it or not before I commit.
My vote would be for even shorter clips, almost like a 1-2 minute commercial or teaser or something, but this is definitely a big step, imho.

That allows such messaging to every PC and every mobile., cross-network, out of the box.
Yeah, so they’ve done a bit of extra coding for myspace, and…. (and even that’s not that special).
You do know that their are 10’s/100’s of millions of people who actually already have video-email, and even a infrastucture companies who can provide you with auto-posting in fw/os for any service.

3. streaming (no long upload & download times)
4. rss access to your inbox
Beyond that, there are upcoming features, especially regarding interactivity, interoperability, and ease-of-use, that set Eyejot apart.

None of the first 4 seem especially exciting/unique to me, but I’m not the average american mobile phone user, and I suppose the current strength comes from the good UI, the platform and the eco-system (ready-to-roll, self-contained, for all).
I do expect that you already have very good ideas/services concerning interactivity, but may I suggest speed of execution.
If you’re thinking of social-networks, may I suggest that you move far ahead, as companies like vodafone/o2/t-mobile are already starting to roll out different (in-house) apps that would blow the average americans mind away (citrix-on-mobile (or orb) anyone, how about persistant last.fm on mobile, etc. etc.)
