I had a good blog post planned but then…

Twittervision happened and all work stopped.

Hope you’re having a good weekend.

  1. With my usual incompetence I managed to open it into two separate windows and discovered that each one is different. Does this mean I am wasting time more efficiently?

  3. As uninteresting/inane Twitter on its own is to me, Twittervision is strangely compelling and addictive…goodness. Almost as good as a Woot Off, but cheaper…

  5. I’ve come around to Twitter. I think the more people post on Twitter, the more we’ll get more insightful blog posts. Twitter may actually be a good thing in helping us filter information.

Those who care for more info will follow on Twitter and those like me, who want less, will tune into regular blogs.

  9. Am I the only person on Planet Earth who just doesn’t ‘get’ Twitter? Am I missing something I haven’t yet seen or is it actually as pointless as it looks. Enlighten me please!!!

  11. We have Smart Guns, Smart Bombs, Smart Computers-Can`t Someone make a Smart-Phone that does not work when the car is in Motion. Just this mourning on the news the Stae of New Jersey wants to write a new law that amkes Text-Messaging a (Number 1) Primary Fine. If we can install a chip which teels the phone the car is in motion can of the phone services will be active-Thus a great deal of distraction will be stopped and people will have to safely pul over or stop at a parking lot to do there thing with Their Cell Phone. Weather it is Calling, Test, or E-mail

  13. @ Tony C: I’m with you; I just don’t get it, & now Twittervision so we can actually see where all the ‘Twits’ are Twittering from! I’m willing to consider coming around if someone could point out even just a tiny usefulness for it all. The guys who put it all together are no slackers (they did Odeo & Blogger among others)so I’m thinking something more obvious is just around the corner (incidentally “Obvious” is the name of their parent company!) but I don’t see it yet.

  15. @21 and @24…Yeah, I just don’t get it. I signed up just to see if I was missing something, nope. I then tried to explain it to my wife, who is blogging and has her Live Space as well as Yahoo! stuff, but she just looked at me like, huh? And then I felt stupid trying to explain what I thought it was. And how long before the twitter text shows up on a Google search and totally gums up any useful search. Ugh, sometimes the Internet pisses me off.
