Annotate my videos with Mojiti

Someone in Eddie Codel’s video session here at Northern Voice just said Mojiti is very cool cause it lets him annotate videos. Anyone try it?

  1. Robert, I don’t know if you’re asking if anyone has tried to annotate YOUR videos yet, but I came across this strange thing earlier today.

It struck me as a strange form of digital graffiti, something like a wiki without any control.

I was going to dig up the blog post I got it from and put that as the link, but I can’t remember specifically where I saw it. I don’t know if you’ve had an issue with this, but Google Reader doesn’t seem to have any search functionality. I find that strangely ironic. It seems like a “search within things I’ve read” would be a no-brainer. If it’s there, I haven’t found it yet. This is one of the things that I miss since bailing on a Win32 style reader. It was always easy to search, and now I feel like I’ve lost something important.

  3. Actually PLYmedia is the comapny behind BubblePLY.com, so you’ll need to visit BubblePLY in order to try out the service, which is a really great one!

  5. There are a bunch of these video annotation sites now: Mojiti, BubblePly, Vidavee, Click.tv, etc. Even the new Photobucket/Adobe partnership (announced last week) for video editing tools included some basic annotation functionality.

I think this is a cool trend. From my own personal experiences, Mojiti is the best of these sites so far – definitely the most features and easiest to use.

  7. so far BubblePly is the best option of those mentioned here… i´ve tried almost every option in this area (i need something like that to “comment” some video reviews) and the best was bubbleply.
