I so disagree with the term CEO here. CEO in a company that is NOT public is not a CEO. Traditionally, the label is only used with publically traded companies. The correct term for the leader of a non-public company is President.
I know a guy who formed his own IT consulting company. He was the lone employee. We once all attended a party where this guy was also an attendant. He passed out business cards with the name of his company and his name. He referred to himself as CEO. Everyone laughed behind his back.
I also think it’s hilarious that all the indians try so hard to be just like the Americans in every aspect of what they do. I’ve read some really funny stories about some of the outsourcing areas in India that have tried to make their companies and grounds look like a little America. Too funny. The people even go through classes to talk like Americans.

After actually going to each site and reviewing content, etc, I have to agree with you, Robert: Dabble is the superior of the two.
Dabble’s look is just so much more elegant. I suspect this is from having female leadership. She’s done a great job IMO. Blinkx looks just like any other number of other wanna-be youtubes.
Dabble is so much better as to not even be funny. The layout, the colors, the linking, the originality of some of the set up.
We need more female geeks in leadership roles, IMO. I’m tired of the traditional old crusty man running a company. I want to see more chicks getting CS degrees, getting networking degrees, getting into IT and actually starting companies. Women tend to have better business sense alot of times than men. They are less prone to taking stupid risks and becoming a dotbomb failure.
More power to Mary. I hope she succeeds in this and makes her name.

Maybe, but how is this remotely relevant to Chandratillake ? He is from Sri Lanka, not India.
Let me explain the difference. Look at a map of South Asia. The island just below India is Sri Lanka, a country with a distinct history and culture.
Then again, I wouldn’t expect someone who is as ignorant as you seem to be to understand that.
