Keeping up with the Sandquists

Heheh, Jeff Sandquist bought Microsoft an ad on TechMeme. So did PodTech. But Jeff’s ads are better.

Of course that brought out another round of “it’s a damn echo chamber” complaints from Jeremy Zawodny. How did I find Jeremy’s comments? TechMeme of course.

That echo is loud. Even gets heard here in Wales.

What should PodTech do with our ads? We’ll be running them for a week.

  1. Guess I will be watching Channel 9 & 10 on interesting links if it shows up on Techmeme. It seems like Seattle and SV are virtually closer together.

009: 007 is no.2 in box office and heading to no.1 in the news. We’ve got to do your 009 bio video profile. Story board first before filming.

  3. Hah, yeah, the current PodTech post is rather…nonspecific, but I suppose that will change tomorrow.

This is supposed to run for a month in fact.

  5. Mr. Scoble… re. the PodTech ad… promoting the latest/greatest is a good idea. The ZING interview’s right in there. Obviously theres a lot more than just that though. Maybe a Flash powered banner highlighting several shows at one sitting clicking through to the appropriate segment. That is, if TechMeme doesn’t have Flash restrictions.

I’d sure trial several different pieces of creative in your first month to learn some quick lessons.

You guys might look into phpAdsNew if you’re going to get into this with some real gusto. Gives you guys a whole new level of serving, tracking, geotargeting, etc. Safe travels! -Gerald in Tulsa
