Sometimes I wish I had more time to blog. Today is one of those times. Google’s new custom searches is awesome. But, in a few minutes I’m off to meet the Zillow team. Then over to Google in Kirkland, WA (Google Talk and lots more developed there). Then over to Microsoft to meet with the Expression team (the Web tool I derided a few weeks back). Then to a dinner with other Blog Business Summit speakers. I gotta get a haircut fit in there too. If you see me zipping by, say hi!
Today…

I’d be very interested to hear what you have to say about Zillow.

Oooh, Zillow’s team rocks. Their offices have the best view of any startup’s I’ve ever seen.

For Stefan Constantinescu:
Hum… That kind of product starts to spread around in France where we are using more and more the DSL (currently up to 24MBit). That is what is called the QuadPlay usage of DSL:
– Internet Broadband
– TV Access
– VoIP telephone
– WiFi/GSM telephone
The last one thanks to the MiMo technology. Most Internet providers in France are proposing such an offer for around 30 Euros a month (around 39 USD). I mean http://www.free.fr/ , http://www.neuf.fr/ , http://www.club-internet.fr/ and so on. And of course, that means calling nearly all Europe and US/Canada free of charge, other countries, etc.
I did live in Germany in 2000, France was far in the back concerning DSL technology. Now, that is completely the opposite. Germany is still stuck at around 4MBit in BEST CASE and all that is due to the Telekom’s (ie Deutsch Telekom or T-Mobile) monopoly.
