The audio from my interview yesterday with Shai Agassi, one of seven people on SAP’s executive board, is now up on Podtech. Shai has a unique view of the world of business (SAP is used by most of the world’s biggest businesses) and we talk about the trends he’s seeing, along with a little bit about what SAP announced today at its TechEd developer confab.
It’s about six minutes long, so won’t take you a lot of time to get through.
How will you continue to develop the relationship you have with Shai? He shares information about the future and present. Truly a visionary in the world today. Although my background doesn’t take me as deep into the tech talk as both you and Shai I place great value in the ability to think forward and expend considerable energy towards ideas that bring us forward in the world. Thanks for sharing the information with the world. Visit us when you have 2 minutes. I think we have something to share. http://www.thinking-forward.com
Regards,
Joe

Joe, I would love to. SAP has invited me to spend more time with its engineers. I will do that soon.

I’ve already complained about it in the comments for the last post you wrote on SAP and I don’t want to ramble… but why oh why are the SAP executive blogs only available with prior registration? I thought the interview was very interesting, which makes the lack of open access to the executive blogs even more frustrating!

Robert,
thanks for the interview. But I have to agree with your post on enteerprise education – Shai basically gave you his standard story, you need to go back and ask some more unusual stuff. This was just the press release version.
Cornelius,
while I agree about the registration issues, I personally think the exec blogs are a lot less interesting than the stuff you can learn on interviews like this or Shai’s appearances on shows like the Gillmor Gang or IT Conversations.
Also, I’d recommend subscribing to SDN – we rock over there 😉

so now you’re on the enterprise tip – maybe we should be talking about collaborations or something?

James Governor – let’s talk collaboration. From your comment I wonder about the humor in your tone or if indeed collaboration is a topic you enjoy delving into. I will venture over to your blog and take a look. Take a look at thinking-foward when you have a few minutes.

Joe

James, I’d love to!
Chris, I’ve interviewed the Dynamics team several times over on Channel 9.
Frank: agreed on getting more outrageous stuff. You never get that kind of interview at a conference when the PR team gives you five minutes to talk. That’s exactly why I like an hour to really get to know someone.

Robert: I must’ve missed those. I’m off to C9 to go find them. Hopefully they’re from after CRM 3.0 shipped.
