Weird, on Sunday Pradeep Sethi emailed me this cool video about Halfmoon Bay coffeehouses (all the stuff you see is real near our new home).
Then today the San Jose Mercury News has an article on TurnHere, the company who is doing a ton of these cool videos.
Funny enough how did I learn about this? My RSS feed? No. My email? No. Digg? No. Someone left a copy of the dead trees version on a coffee table in the office. Heheh, I guess that’s justice, huh?
Anyway, nice videos about cool places.

Well, if didn’t have email overload, yah coulda got it from me, as I know I sentcha a bit on this, 2005ish, when they first hit. You weren’t into video as much then, I guess…anyways, All Hail Dead Trees.
PS – I wish people’d Steadicam, and not MTV-jump-cut so much in travel videos, makes you sea-sick. Still pretty high productional values there.

PS – It’s that Inman News guy, and Marc Prager, of History Channel ‘Tactical to Practical’ fame. Good group of guys…some of the best, and they are all story-telling style! I’d work for them, just Steadicam more. 🙂

Robert, since you don’t check your email and these comments are short I’ll use here. Apple just updated the iMac and Mac Mini lines. Are these what you had anticipated for their last announcements or are we still waiting for what you heard of? I think you can give a yay or nay without revealing anything. They have more new stuff coming at their Showtime event, so if these aren’t what you heard of, I guess we can expect them there.

Turn Here is really fantastic. Great videos. Great idea. You know who is also doing “social travel” well is Pennsylvania. Check out Visit PA and look at the “playlists” For some reason PA has always done neat stuff here.
