“World’s stupidest people … starring YYYOOOOUUUU.” That’s what Ze Frank just said on his Friday video blog about people who use YouTube. Why? Well, watch the first 60 seconds — Ze doesn’t like YouTube’s new license agreement. And, be aware, Ze Frank uses adult language. Not that any 12-year-old hasn’t heard those words. But, then, the President of USA said “shit” on TV the other night (of course Ze has been making fun of that all week long), so I guess using a few adult words don’t need warnings anymore.
YouTube gets the Ze Frank treatment

Speaking of YouTube-CNN has a story on the “YouTube effect” No real news here but watching videos incubate on YouTube before hatching onto the cable networks is quite interesting.

Bad news for some up and coming vloggers. They are going to have to find alternative hosting services in order to retain the rights to their work.

Sad but true. I’ve been saying for a while that the new media creators were doomed to not reap any benefits from their labors and now YouTube goes and proves it.
It built itself up by its dedicated users and now goes and abuses its relationship.
Now is the time for someone to walk in and offer the viral video guys a piece of the pie just like Jason Calacanis and his offer to bookmarkers. It’s time the little guy started getting some recognition for making people millions of dollars.

That quote taken from his his show is taken out of context. When you listen to the whole show, he seems to be saying that under the new lisence agreement, YouTube could theoretically put out a DVD collection called, “The World’s Stupidest People” consisting of some video that you’ve uploaded of yourself.
