Nice to see the new CoComment (a tool that lets you track wherever you post comments around on other people’s blogs). I have to try it out again. I lost interest after switching computers again, but I’m off to download. Thanks to TechCrunch for bringing this to my attention.

The Firefox CoComment Extension is also really well done.
It automagically adds a CoComment box on any compatible weblogs (most of them) and sends the comment you make to the blog author and to your CoComment page in one swoop. Sweet!

I’ve got some issues with some crappiness they introduced with the new version of the Firefox plugin:

I’ve got a good little conversation cookin’ at my blog about coComment. We’ve got Aaron explaining his coCo woes and others sharing their thoughts as well. I took your thoughts, Robert, and collated them with those of 21 other bloggers. So far the response is mostly positive, with quite a few people excited to try out the new coComment. Some don’t like it, and I found some great posts about specific bugs or issues that they’ve found.
Bottom line, is tools like this are changing the way we converse online.

I’m done… the coComment toolbar icon reinstalls itself each time I restart Firefox. I’m no longer a coComment user.
