Here’s a photo of my son on stage with me during our panel discussion yesterday. Taken by Scott Beale.

I’ll blog my thoughts later. For now I’m just having a blast being unemployed.

  1. With all that blogging I would say that you are very much employed. You offer a service that is in demand and for that you get revenue (your income must be sweet). I was unemployed for about two weeks once, no money, no car, no job, no talent -that was unemployed, it sucked!

  3. mick: yeah, I’ve been there too and you’re right, this is a bit different. Sorry for not making that distinction.

As to my income, it depends on how you look at it. If you remember that about half the world’s people live on $2 a day, then I’m freaking over the top rich.

If you remember that a normal house in Silicon Valley is $900,000 then I’m not doing all that well (many of my readers are doing far far better). I’m not making millions of dollars.

  5. weiyen: Patrick was just playing around while we held a panel discussion. His work was on the screen behind us so the audience could watch what he was doing.
