Two videos that got my eye. They won't change the world. They don't really communicate anything important. They won't get on Memeorandum or Digg or even on Google Video or YouTube. But, what the heck, neither will a flower.

Oh, Michael, I know what you mean. Sometimes I just get in a funk and don't know what to write. It gets worse after conferences cause I realize people are listening. Damn, it's so much easier to create and do weird shit when you know no one is listening.

It's a totally terrifying time in my life. And thrilling, too. So many changes coming that it's hard to just soak it all in. It's hard to get to sleep, to tell you the truth. Which is why I'm watching videos at 4 a.m. Thanks for making my 4 a.m. a little more fun than what's on the Discovery Channel at this time of morning.

I do feel naked, though. I gave my camcorder to Charles the other day so can't send video back. Can't wait to get a new one. Which one should I get? I want HD, but don't want to spend $6k for the Panasonic one, so probably will go with the Sony I had before (FX1).

  5. It might not have the best HD recording possiblites but it’s a good chunck of a change cheaper. I like this well because it does a pretty good job with recording and it was cheaper. Didn’t need a high end one. if your looking for a high end one yeah go for the FX1 or the panasonic AG.

    No comment on this particular story, however, you changed your website title to read “Tech Geek Blogger” from “Microsoft Geek Blogger” today. Does this signify anything? Why now? Just curious. I noticed this in my RSS feed.

  11. Comprehend that naked feeling that washes over you when you don’t have a camera.

    May I suggest in the interim mastering your phone – you *do have a vid-capable phone, no?

    While cameraphones’ less-than-stellar-quality is frustrating and annoying, for a short time anyway the immediacy of uploading via MMS ameliorates the eye-pain. The media gets out, if not annotated.

    Texting on a phone is a bore.

    Note to self: master texting shorthand. Check.

    Et voila! Naked no more.

  17. I have to say that the videos were quite good, and yes I do have times where I go blank and wonder what I would like to write. So I find some good quotes to put on my blog. I keep on reading things on the net that hopefully will bring forth inspiration.

  19. Listening to music helps in the process of finding something to write about too :)The layout of this site is simple, nothing garish or ridiculous, I like that sort of thing 🙂
