I love Lifehacker.
What do I love about it? It gives you all kinds of cool tips about how to live life better. Sometimes deep stuff, mostly not, but always cool and useful. Like this, Gina, who does Lifehacker, links to the Photojojo blog, which shows you how to do photo blocks.
Here's another entry that shows you how to upload video from your cell phone.
Lifehacker is one of my favorites. Their piece on using Gmail totally changed how I deal with a flood of email.
Another great thing they introduced me to was the magic of text substitution – (mac one works great, I assume the PC one does as well!)
That photo block thing looks cool. I bet my daughter would love making those.

I am the most uncool blogger on the planet, then. Subscribed, then unsubscribed to Lifehacker. I am not made for that kind of life micromanagement. Some cool tips, yes, but accepting comments only from “insiders” really turned me off.

I got to interview Gina for the nonprofit tech assistance project NetSquared a few weeks ago: http://netsquared.org/gina It was pretty cool alright.
Perhaps if you’re not cool enough to write for Lifehacker, Robert, you’d feel better if you did an interview with Net Squared too.

lol — some would say that “cool blogger” is a contradiction in terms — 😀
Thanks for fighting for the cause, nevertheless.
