Ross Rader has a Media Center dream

I love when customers ask us for new stuff. Ross Rader asks for an easy upgrade from Windows XP to Windows Media Center. Charlie Owen gives him an open response and says make some noise!

Last week I was getting between 10,000 and 24,000 visitors per day. Imagine if every one of you left a comment! I wonder if WordPress could keep up with a 10,000 comment post?

  3. I would what would happen if you linked to my blog. Keep in mind I run a blog that is only of interest to a very small subset of your readers. Just wondering and of course I posted to see if you can get 10,000 comments on this post. Good luck!

  5. We’ve had comment threads of up to 1000 comments, and I’ve seen some in the 3500 range at other sites. The biggest issue is that you have to load 3500 comments worth of HTML. The other biggest issue is script timeouts.

  7. Having a kick ass computer with XP Pro on it and getting a new Xbox 360 for Christmas only brings out the idiocy of not having a way to upgrade to XP Media Center Edition. Microsoft needs to have this be either an update or an upgrade. My Xbox 360 easily found my computer but without MCE 2005 it only plays the audio files from the PC to TV.
