Just thought I’d comment. I left my pathetic plea for free over on Phil’s blog. After I posted I figured out that if I would win I may need to buy some hardware to implement the free software. Do you know of any free hardware vendor MVP’s that would be willing to send me free stuff?

Any developer who uses the MS platform and doesn’t have at least a basic MSDN subscription is nuts. The education you can get from just playing with the apps that you’ve never used much before can save you 10 times the sub fee in one year, not to mention the fact that you’ll never be caught without an install disc because you can download all of the stuff from the subscriber site. I’ve been a subscriber since the mid-90s and I don’t know what I’d do without it.
BTW – if this butt-kissing lands me a copy, can I use it to extend my current when it expires 😉
