I was just over at the Church of the Customer blog and saw that USNews and World Report wrote about corporate evangelists. I like Ben’s analysis:
“Have some soul. Tell reporters that your evangelists are the greatest customers in the world (and that you’ve restructured the public relations department). After all, what true evangelists crave more than anything is recognition.”
For the record, I appreciate everyone who builds technology to improve our lives, whether it’s as simplistic as adding an RSS feed to your Web sites, to something a lot more complex like making a game for the Xbox 360. If you use Microsoft stuff, even better! If you build stuff on Microsoft’s platforms, better yet!
And never hesitate to let me know how I, or Microsoft, can help you do any of the above.

I personally want to thank you for showing me how kick ass a tablet pc could be.
After playing with one in real life I decided to get one. Right now I am waiting to find one to suit my needs, or until the M200 gets cheaper.
My Thinkpad X40 is about a year old, so I know I could get a pretty penny for it, if the X41 Tablet had the same resolution as the M200 then I would be getting it right this second.
I want an ultra portable, but I don’t want to be stuck in XGA land anymore.
I am curious about what new tablet features vista will bring, you haven’t seemed to cover that in any C9 videos.

Niall: The Quake 3 engine has recently gone open source. Why not build a game with that engine? It certainly is commerical grade.

If MS could let me know when the person who swiped my Rio Carbon tries to play my DRM WMAs on his PC (and preferably provides his address), that would be much appreciated. That’s theoretically possible, what with license migration, right?

Heh, I find it quite funny of late that the WHOLE Xbox 360 unit is becoming known as the “brick”. Before it was just the power supply, now it’s the whole thing itself. 😉

Make it easy for companies developing software to have a shared login system, rather than giving the users yet another login and password. Make it easy for IT departments to deploy active directory, which I guess would be your solution. I don’t know of any business, desktop software that does this.
