#72: BroadbandSports adds tags

Alex Barnett is one of my favorite bloggers lately. Today he says 2006 will be a tagtastic year and links to BroadbandSports as an example.

  1. I’d be interested in using some of my spare time to tag all my digital images with some tool like Picasa. But I also know that Windows Vista will support tagging directly in the file system — more than the simple keywords that are available in XP.

    In the interests of not duplicating work, I’d like to know what software will allow exports into Vista. Will Google implement this feature? Anyone know?

  3. Are people eventually going to start tagging revelant things? Like news? Tagging digital photos or niche extreme sports video hardly seems note worthy.
